Christina is currently working in Gainesville, FL in association with Ritchie Films co-writing, producing, directing a limited narrative series of "reimagined mosnter movies with a strong, active female protagnaist" called A Town Nearby

 

In addition to production work, Christina is currently working a minimum of 24 credit hours a year as the "most full time of all the Adjunct Professors" in the Digital Media Production Program of the Fine Arts Department at Santa Fe College.

​Christina is currently directing, co-writing and producing on a series called A Town Nearby for Ritchie Films, owned by Rustin Ritchie.

Currently Christina is an adjunct professor at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. She teaches courses in the Digital Media Production A.S. and B.A.S programs.

Pittsburgh, PA​ 2010 - 2015

 

​While in Pittsburgh, Christina was assistant director and producer on many projects for L76 Media Productions, owned by Laurie A. Smith. In 2013 they participated in the National 48 Hr Film competition and won best Cinematography.

​2008 - 2011

 

​In the fall of 2008, Christina began her Master of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking and Digital Technology at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her thesis focused on expanding Maya Deren’s film theory, Creative Realism, as well as issues surrounding gender specific stereotypes. Christina graduated top of her class and also earned a concentration in Script Writing.

University of Central Florida. Orlando, FL

​2004 - 2008

 

​In the fall of 2004, Christina and a few other studnts were hand picked from under 50 students and accepted into the limited access production program in World Cinema at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. The program focused on documentary filmmaking and was slated to become a BFA degree before her graduation but if did not, due to unforeseen administrative circumstances. However, she still attended all the same classes as the other BFA students and excelled in the experimental cinematic art style. While here, Christina also earned a minor in Creative Writing (poetry concentration) and a graduate level educational certification in 6 – 12 grade Language Arts with a concentration in Teaching Reading and Writing to Adolescents.

​In the fall of 2001, Christina began taking academic courses as well as art classes like creative writing, photography, and cinematic studies to further her journey through the arts and gain some experience before going to university.  

​

Douglas Anderson School of the Preforming Arts. Jacksonville, FL​ 1998 - 2001

 

​Christina’s creative and artistic journey began in high school when she was accepted into the Creative Writing department at Douglas Anderson School of the Performing Arts in Jacksonville, FL. While here, not only did she focus on poetry, she and several other students were chosen to take part in the Film and TV electives. After her graduation, this eventually became its own department due to the excellent work displayed by these students. Even though Christina was not able to major in Film and TV here, her love for the moving image was born.
